Pulaski County Death Investigation
(Somerset, KY) - On Tuesday, December 30, 2003 when family members could not make contact with Bart and Elizabeth Watts at their home in Somerset, they contacted the Kentucky State Police.
Detective Todd Dalton and Trooper Anthony Phillips responded to the residence and upon entering began to search for them throughout the house, where officers discovered the bodies of Bart age 62 and Elizabeth age 54, dead from apparent single gunshot wounds.
Pulaski County Deputy Coroner Tom Dick pronounced Bart and Elizabeth Watts dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled in Frankfort to determine the exact cause of death.
Detective Todd Dalton is continuing the investigation. Assisting at the scene were Trooper Anthony Phillips and members of the Pulaski County Major Crimes Task Force.
