Armed Robbery in McCreary County

(London, KY) - On December 20, 2003 Trooper Craig Reed Of the London Post, KY State Police obtained search warrants based on information obtained during his investigation into the armed robbery of the Holiday Inn Express on December 14, 2003 in Whitley City, KY.

Trooper Reed executed the search warrant at the residence of the suspect and then arrested Christopher Hoyt Heath, 29 of Whitley City, KY at the residence.

The weapon involved in the robbery was located near the suspect's residence in a wooded area and recovered.
