Meth lab bust in Adair County

(Adair County, Ky.) -- On February 21, 2011 units from Kentucky State Police West Drug Enforcement, Adair County Sheriff's Office, and Columbia Police Department responded to a residence on William Bryant Road in Columbia after units received an anonymous tip regarding the possible manufacture of methamphetamine. Upon units arrival they located the ingredients used to manufacture methamphetamine. Adair County Department for Community Based Services responded and assisted four children that were at the home. Adair County Sheriff's office arrested one female and charged her with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.
To anonymously report any type of suspected illegal drug activity, citizens can call the KSP toll-free drug tip hotline, 1-800-DOPETIP. The hotline is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
