Franklin County Indoor Marijuana Grow Investigation

Date of News Release: 01/29/2010

(Franklin County, Ky.) -- On January 28, 2010 Kentucky State Police DESI West Detectives with the assistance of Post 12 executed a search warrant at the residence of Michael Greenwell at 329 Big Eddy Road, Frankfort, KY. The search resulted in the discovery of a marijuana grow with 120 plants. Seized were $2069.00 in U.S. Currency, 1.5 pounds of processed marijuana, thousands of marijuana seeds, 9 Long guns, 3 hand guns, grow equipment, and a 2000 Ford F250 Pickup Truck. Mr. Greenwell was not arrested at this time. Indictments pending.
