Officer Involved Rraffic Crash in Pulaski County

(Somerset, KY) -- On Saturday March 23rd 2013 around 10 P.M. Sgt. Greg Reams with the Kentucky State Police Vehicle Enforcement responded to a two vehicle injury accident located at the intersection of US27 and KY1247 in Somerset Kentucky.
Upon arrival and through investigation Reams determined that 24 year old Keegan Bray (2-year Veteran Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer) was operating a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria when making a left turn at the intersection of US27 and KY1247 when he was struck by a green 1993 Hyundai being operated by 52 year old Gary Turpin of Science Hill Kentucky.
Bray and Turpin were not injured in the crash, Brenda Turpin a passenger was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset for a minor head laceration.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected and all involved parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.<./
Assisting on Scene: Officers with KSP-Vehicle Enforcement, Kentucky State Police, Pulaski County Sheriff's Department, Pulaski County EMS and Science Hill Fire Department. Sgt. Greg Reams continues the investigation.
