Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division will be conducting a Motor Coach Detail
Date of News Release: 11/22/2013
(Georgetown, Ky.) - The Kentucky State Police-Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division will be conducting a Motor Coach Detail starting on November 23rd and running through November 30, 2013. The campaign will increase police presence along high crash corridors and frequently used routes by motor coach, shuttle buses and limousines. Officers will be enforcing both state and federal traffic regulations placing an emphasis on critical safety items such as speeding, hours of service, alcohol usage, and fatigued driving.
The Kentucky State Police would like to remind operators of cars, trucks, and motorcycles to drive safe around buses and large trucks; leaving more space for larger vehicles to stop and manuever on the roadway.
Please contact Officer Brian Gilliam with Kentucky State Police C.V.E. Division of Region 3 for any questions regarding this detail. (502)370-6515.
