Drug arrest in Slat Lick, KY

Date of News Release: 07/11/2011

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On July 6th, 2011 at 4:25 PM, Post 8 Morehead received an anonymous call in regards to a Gold and Brown Buick Lacross having several subjects that were under the influence and possessing drugs. A short time later Officer Jessie Stewart of the Commercial Enforcement Division located a vehicle matching this description at the BP Fuel Station in Salt Lick, KY with a female standing outside the vehicle and no occupants inside. It was Officer Stewart's observation that this female appeared to be under the influence and made contact with her.

Raina K. Ulery was contacted by CVE Officer Stewart and upon an interview of Mrs. Ulery by CVE Officer Tommy Jones, she admitted to having Xanax concealed in her bra. Mrs. Ulery was placed under arrest by Officer Stewart for Public Intoxication (Controlled Substance), Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Prescription not in proper container 1st Degree. Assisting at the scene were Trooper Aaron Brown and Trooper Josh Preece.
