Illegal Transport of Alcohol into Dry Territory Arrest in Pulaski County
Date of News Release: 03/25/2009
(London, Ky.) - On Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 10:20 AM Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Travis Rogers, while on routine patrol on KY 914 in Pulaski County, observed a green 1997 Mercury passenger car who's owner was known not to have a drivers license.
Officer Rogers stopped the vehicle and learned it was actually being driven by Frank Souder, 53, of Bronston.
Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Mr. Souder on the charges of DUI 1ST and Illegal Transportation of Alcoholic Beverages into a Dry Option Territory 3RD.
Officer Rogers recovered 10 cases of beer and 10 bottles of liquor during the investigation.
