Cold Case 2 ½ Year Old Biracial Female

Kentucky State Police Request Help Resolving An 2 ½ Year Old Biracial Female Child Murder
Found on August 20, 1989 in the Skaggs Creek

The Kentucky State Police request help in resolving the murder of a 2 ½ year old biracial female child, with an estimated year of birth between 1984-1987. The child was found on August 20, 1989 in the Skaggs Creek section of Barren River Lake. The remains were skeletal and were in a suitcase.

On Sunday August 20 1989 an employee of the Army Corps of Engineers found a suitcase on the shore of Barren River Lake, 5 miles south of Glasgow on US 31-E. Inside of the suitcase were the skeletal remains of a child, approximately 2 ½ years of age. Post received 3 quick calls from someone claiming to be an attorney who asked that immunity be granted to a woman who had information about the child. After those 3 calls, no more were received.

Investigators from Post 3 Bowling Green are asking anyone with information regarding the murder of An 2 1/2 Year Old Biracial Female Child to contact Det. Sgt. Tim Adams.
