Cold Case on James David Childers

State Police Request Help Resolving the Murder of James David Childers - Body Found on May 1st, 2001

Kentucky State Police Authorities in Pikeville were summoned to Highlands Regional Hospital in Prestonsburg, Ky (Floyd County) reference to a 59 year old male victim that had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. James Childers had been shot at his residence on KY 1185 in Louisa, Ky and discovered by family members.

Detectives are requesting help from the community or anyone who might have information on the murder of James David Childers of Wayland, KY.
