KSP Promotes Richmond Resident

(Frankfort, KY) -- Lt. Col. Keith Peercy (left), a Richmond resident, received his promotional certificate from Kentucky State Police Commissioner Rodney Brewer at KSP headquarters in Frankfort on March 23. Peercy is a 17-year veteran of the agency where he serves as director of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division. A 1993 graduate of Richmond Model High School, Peercy began his career as a dispatcher at KSP Post 7 in Richmond in 1994. He was also assigned to the post as a trooper from 1996 to 2001 and a sergeant from 2001 to 2002. Other assignments included the Computer Technologies Branch, Criminal Identification and Records Branch, Financial and Grants Management Branch and the Technical Services Division. A native of Beattyville, he is the son of Gary Peercy and Delma Peercy of Richmond, Ky.
