KSP Promotes Highway Safety at State Fair

1949 State Fair	2008 State Fair
Since its creation as a law enforcement agency in 1948, the Kentucky State Police has been using the Kentucky State Fair in its public education efforts. This photo from the 1949 fair shows an exhibit aimed at highway safety.	After 60 years, the Kentucky State Police continues to educate the public about highway safety through exhibits at the Kentucky State Fair. This vehicle rollover simulator at the 2008 fair demonstrates how occupants not using seat belts can easily be ejected in a crash with fatal results.
