| Through Feb. 7, 2012, preliminary statistics* indicate that 64 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways during 2012. This is six more fatalities than reported for the same period in 2011. In the Post Nine there has been six (6) motor vehicle fatalities and three (3) victim were not wearing seat belt and two (2) victims were wearing seat belt, and one (1) victim seat belt was unknown. One deaths has resulted from crashes involving the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
