| Through Feb. 14, 2011, thirty-eight (38) people have been killed in the Post 8 District. Twenty-one (21) victims were not wearing a seat belts, eight (8) victims were wearing a seat belt, two (2) victims seat belt is unknown, one (1) victim was in a child restraint, two (2) victims were not wearing a helmet (motorcycle), two (2) victims were wearing a helmet (motorcycle) and two (2) victims were not wearing a helmet (ATV). A total of twelve (12) fatalities have resulted from crashes involving the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
