| Through Feb. 8, 2012, fifty-one (51) people have been killed in the Post 7 District. Eighteen (18) victims were not wearing a seat belt, twenty-one (21) victims were wearing a seat belt, five (5) victims seat belt was unknown, one (1) victim as in a child restraint, two (2) victims were not a wearing a helmet (motorcycle), two (2) victims were wearing a helmet (motorcycle), one (1) victim helmet was unknown (ATV) and one (1) victim was a pedestrian. A total of seven (7) fatalities have resulted from crashes involving the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
