Through April 23, 2013, preliminary statistics* indicate that 160 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways during 2013. This forty-four (44) less than was reported for the same time period in 2012.
In the Post Five there has been six (6) motor vehicle fatalities and two (2) victims were not wearing a seat belts and four (4) victim were wearing a seat belt. One (1) crash involved a pedestrian. One (1) death has resulted from crashes involving the suspected use of alcohol.
