| Through December 31, 2009, one hundred and twenty-five (125) people have been killed in the Post 4 District. Fifty-nine (59) victims were not wearing seat belts, thirty-five (35) victims were wearing a seat belt, seven (7) victims seat belt is unknown, one (1) victim child restraint, five (5) victims was wearing a helmet (motorcycle), one (1) victims was not wearing a helmet (motorcycle), one (1) victims helmet is unknown (motorcycle), one (1) victims helmet is unknown (ATV), twelve (12) victims were pedestrians and three (3) victims were bicyclist. Thirty-six (36) fatality crashes have involved the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
