| Through December 31, 2009, thirty-eight (38) people have been killed in the Post 2 District. Eleven (11) victims were not wearing seat belts, fifteen (15) victim were wearing a seat belt, one (1) victim was seatbelt was unknown, one (1) victim was using a booster seat, four (4) victims was not wearing a helmet (motorcycle), one (1) victim was not wearing a helmet (motorcycle) and five (5) victim were pedestrians. Eight (8) of the fatal crashes involved the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
