| Through June 12, 2013, preliminary statistics* indicate that 257 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways during 2013. This seventy-nine (79) less than was reported for the same time period in 2012. | |||
| In the Post One there has been fifteen (15) motor vehicle fatalities and seven (7) victims were not wearing seat belts and eight (8) victims were wearing a seat belt. Two (2) crashes involved a motorcycle and neither victims were not wearing a helmet. Three (3) deaths has resulted from crashes involving the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
