| Through December 31, 2009, fifty-seven (57) people have been killed in the Post 1 District. Twenty-two (22) victims were not wearing seat belts, twenty-two (22) victim were wearing a seat belt, three (3) victim was using a booster seat, two (2) victim was wearing a helmet (motorcycle), three (3) victim was not wearing a helmet (motorcycle), two (2) victims was not wearing a helmet (ATV), one (1) victim was not wearing a helmet (ATV), one (1) was a bicyclist and one (1) was a pedestrian. Thirteen (13) of the fatal crashes involved the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
