| Through December 31, 2009, thirty-four (34) people have been killed in the Post 16 District. Seventeen (17) victims were not wearing seat belts, ten (10) victims were wearing a seat belt, one (1) victim seat belt is unknown, two (2) victims was not wearing a helmet (motorcycle), two (2) victims was wearing a helmet, one (1) victim was not wearing a helmet (scooter) and one (1) victim was a pedestrian. Ten (10) fatality crashes have involved the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
