| Through Feb. 8, 2012, seventy-two (72) people have been killed in the Post 12 District. Thirty-two (32) victims were not wearing a seat belt, twenty (20) victims were wearing a seat belts, six (6) victims seat belt were unknown, two (2) victims were not wearing a helmet (motorcycle), one (1) victim was wearing helmet helmet (motorcycle), three (3) victims helmet was unknown (motorcycle), one (1) victim was not wearing a helmet (ATV), one (1) victim was riding a bicycle and six (6) victims were a pedestrian. A total of ten (10) fatalities have resulted from crashes involving the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
