| Through Feb. 8, 2012, fifty-six (56) people have been killed in the Post 11 District. Seventeen (17) victims were not wearing seat belts , twenty-three (23) victims were wearing a seat belt, one (1) victim seat belt is unknown, one (1) victim was in a child restraint, four (4) victims were not wearing a helmet (motorcycle), one (1) victim was wearing a helmet (motorcycle), three (3) victims were not wearing a helmet (ATV), one (1) victim was wearing a helmet (ATV) and five (5) victims were a pedestrian. A total of fifteen (15) fatalities have resulted from crashes involving the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
