KSP Conducts Drug Round Up in Grant County

Dry Ridge, Ky. (December 13, 2017) — The Kentucky State Police Post 6, Dry Ridge, concluded a six month investigation into the sale of illegal drugs in Grant County. In the early morning hours of December 13th Troopers and Detectives from Post 6, Dry Ridge, attempted to serve the indictments of 14 individuals. The indictments were for trafficking in heroin and methamphetamine. Some of the heroin that was purchased by Detectives was also laced with the powerful synthetic opiate, fentanyl.
At this time Troopers have located 8 of the individuals named in the indictments and are attempting to locate the remaining 6.
While serving the indictments, two additional individuals were arrested for drug related offenses.
