Kentucky State Police Investigating Shooting in Pleasureville

Pleasureville, KY (January 10, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police at Post 5 Campbellsburg is investigating a shooting in the community of Pleasureville in Henry County.
At approximately 4:30 pm Monday January 9th, Kentucky State Police in Campbellsburg received a 911 call of a shooting at an apartment complex on Main Street in Pleasureville.
Upon arrival to the apartment complex by Henry County Sherriff’s Office, KSP, and Henry County EMS Zachary Fluhr, 23 of Louisville, was found outside with a single gunshot wound. Fluhr was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Henry Coroner.
Preliminary investigation shows Randall Carman, 22 of Pleasureville, allegedly shot Fluhr during an altercation. Carman was taken into custody without incident and was subsequently arrested and charged with Murder.
Carman was lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center and an autopsy has been scheduled with the Louisville medical examiner’s office.
Kentucky State Police were assisted on scene by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Eminence Police Department, Henry County EMS, Pleasureville Fire Department, and the Henry County Coroner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
