KSP Requests Assistance Identifying Shoplifter

Madisonville, KY (May 30, 2017) The Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville requests help in identifying a shoplifter in an incident that occurred at the Hanson Wal-Mart on May 26, 2017 at approximately 4:16 p.m.
The attached photos show a white female entering the store where she placed tools and groceries into her cart. She then proceeded through the self-checkout line where she put the tools into plastic bags without paying for them. As she was leaving, she was approached by Wal-Mart employees, who attempted to stop her. The unknown female then fled the store and got into the passenger side of the vehicle that is shown in the last photograph. The unknown female along with the unknown male driver, then drove off of Wal-Mart property.
The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Jon Eilert. Any information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspected shoplifter can be given to the Kentucky State Police Post 2 at 270-676-3313. Callers may remain anonymous.
