KSP Investigates Injury Accident in Greenville

Greenville, KY (April 19, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police Post 2 is investigating an injury accident that occurred on April 18th at approximately 12:45 p.m. 3 miles south on Greenville on KY 189 South.

Preliminary investigation showed that Dylan Foster, 21 Central City, was operating his 1997 GMC Sierra pickup truck south bound on KY 189. His passenger side tires dropped off the travel portion of the roadway causing him to overcorrect and lose control of his truck. Mr. Foster’s vehicle then crossed both lanes of travel before leaving the roadway, where he struck an earth embankment causing the truck to overturn.

Mr. Foster was not injured in the collision, however, Hunter Jessup, 23, Greenville, who was a passenger in the truck, was injured and transported to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Trooper Jerry Knight investigated the collision and was assisted on scene by Owensboro Health Muhlenberg County EMS and the Greenville Fire Department.
