KSP Investigates Single Vehicle Injury Collision

Greenville, Ky (Muhlenberg County) (March 29, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury collision that occurred on State Route 1473, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 09:18 a.m.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Melinda Corriette, 38, of Greenville was operating a 2006 Chevrolet passenger car southbound on State Route 1473. Ms. Corriette’s vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, causing her car to exit the roadway where it collided into a tree. Ms. Corriette and her passenger, Israel Corriette, 5, were both wearing seatbelts. They were transported to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital by ambulance for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. /p>
Trooper Jacob Fortney investigated the collision and was assisted at the scene by Trooper Jerry Knight, the Greenville Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS.
