Two Vehicle Injury Accident in Muhlenberg Co.

Greenville, KY. (February 17, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a two vehicle, injury-collision that occurred at the 3000 block of KY 181 North, Greenville, in Muhlenberg County, at approximately 8:50 p.m.
The preliminary investigation revealed Blake House 23 years old of Sacramento, KY was operating a 2003 Nissan Sentra southbound on KY 181 North. Mr. House crossed the center line where he struck a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 series traveling northbound, in the rear driver-side tire. The operator of the Dodge was 34 year old Brady Jarvis of Bremen, KY, and 12 year old Cayden Jarvis, also of Bremen, was his only passenger.
Both front airbags deployed on the Nissan Sentra and none deployed on the Dodge. It is unknown whether any occupants from either vehicle were restrained. Mr. House sustained minor injuries and was treated by Muhlenberg County EMS then, taken to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY. Neither Brady nor Cayden Jarvis reported having injuries from this collision.
Mr. House was cited to court for operating a motor vehicle under the influence and alcohol appears to have been a factor in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Justin Cornett. He was assisted on the scene by the Greenville Fire Department, Muhlenberg County EMS, and the Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department.
