Possession of Methamphetamine

Owensboro , KY (December 10th, 2017) – Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on KY54 for traffic violations. A passenger of the vehicle, Jason Fuqua, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Information gained during the investigation was used to obtain a search warrant for the residence of Fuqua on Old KY 54 in Philpot.
Troopers and Deputies with the Daviess County Sheriff’s located numerous items of drug paraphernalia as a result of the search warrant, leading to charges for 4 adults in the residence. Troopers and Deputies also located 4 children at the residence living in unsanitary conditions. Child protective services was notified and KSP is assisting the cabinet for health and family services with their investigation.
Jason Fuqua was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
