Hit and Run Accident

HENDERSON, KY(November 21, 2017) – On November 21st, 2017, the Kentucky State Police responded to a hit and run accident with injuries at the intersection of KY 425 and US 41S. Upon arrival, Troopers found that Melissa Gilmore, age 37 of Uniontown, was traveling eastbound on KY 425 when a dark colored sedan, possibly a Buick, rear ended her. The sedan then fled from the scene of the accident toward I-69. The vehicle that fled the scene has damage to the front left portion of the vehicle and possible red paint transfer. At this time, the identity of the operator of the sedan is unknown.
