One Injured in Two Vehicle Collision in Ohio County

HARTFORD, Ky. (September 25, 2017)--Kentucky State Police responded to a two vehicle collision on KY 69 South at Goshen Road, just outside the community of Hartford. Troopers were able to determine that Consuello Norton, 44 of Cromwell was operating a 2009 F-350 Ford Ambulance responding to an emergency call on KY 69 South. Jerry Clark, 38 of Beaver Dam was also on KY 69 South traveling in front of Norton. Clark stated he was unaware of the approaching ambulance and started to make a turn left on Goshen Road. The ambulance was then in the process of overtaking Clarks 1996 GMC 3500 dump truck. Norton made contact to the driver’s side of Clarks truck.
Mr. Clark was treated for nonlife threatening injuries and was transported to Ohio County Hospital in Hartford.
Paramedic Norton and passenger Hillary Gather, 30 of Beaver Dam were both wearing their seatbelts and were not injured.
Kentucky State Police troopers were assisted on the scene by Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio County EMS and Hartford Vol Fire Department.
