Single vehicle collision with injuries

Cromwell, Ky. (September 13, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police responded to the 4000 block of US HWY 231 South in reference to a single vehicle collision. Carla Detalente was traveling Northbound on HWY 231 when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle then left the roadway and struck an embankment. Ms. Detalente was transported by EMS to the Ohio County Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. Following treatment, Detalente was placed under arrest and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and other traffic offenses. KSP was assisted by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio County EMS and Cromwell Fire Department.

The Kentucky State police was assisted by the Owensboro Police Department and Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
