OWENSBORO, Ky. (August 30, 2017) – Anderson was located and recaptured in Owensboro. He will likely be charged with Escape 2nd and taken back to the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.

OWENSBORO, Ky. (August 28, 2017) – Kentucky State Police troopers are responding to an escaped inmate from the Daviess County Detention Center. Officials at the detention center contacted Kentucky State Police just before 5:00pm to report the escape.
The preliminary investigation reveals 18 year-old Kaleb Gage Anderson of Owensboro, KY was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro for charges including Burglary.
Anderson was in a secure outdoor area when he jumped the border fencing and was last seen running west towards Owensboro.
Troopers are currently searching for Anderson in the Owensboro area.

- Last seen wearing a white T-shirt and denim pants with orange stripes down both legs.
