Traffic Stop Leads to an Arrest in Ohio County

BEAVER DAM, Ky.(August 17th, 2017) – Kentucky State Police executed a traffic stop in Beaver Dam. Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle, troopers discovered one of them to be Christopher D. Kirby, 39, of Morgantown. Through the investigation, Troopers found Kirby to have an active warrant for his arrest. Kirby was also found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia. Kirby was arrested and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
