Felony ArrestTrafficking in Methamphetamine and Marijuana

HENDERSON, KY. (June 9, 2017) – Trooper Settle with Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop at KY 2084 on a Blue 1988 Chevrolet Caprice operated by Tyler Price, 28, of Henderson for a seat belt violation. Upon making contact with the driver Trooper Settle detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Price was detained and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Trooper Settle located a large amount of marijuana and methamphetamine. Price was arrested and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center on the following charges: 1) Failure to Wear Seat Belts, 2) Failure to use Child Restraint Device in Vehicle, 3) Trafficking in Marijuana (8oz to <5 lbs) 1st Offense, 4) Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or Greater Offense (<2 grams Methamphetamine), 5) Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess, 6) Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
