Trafficking in methamphetamine

Beaver Dam, KY. (May 5, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police initiated a traffic stop for an equipment violation on Patterson Rd. in the Prentiss Community. Through investigation the operator of the vehicle, Darrell Carnes; 52 of Beaver Dam, was found to be in possession of a large amount of cash, methamphetamine and marijuana. Mr. Carnes was placed under arrest for 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess. He was lodged at the Ohio County Detention Center.
