Burglary 2nd Degree

Dundee, KY (January 14, 2017) – At approximately 2:45 AM the Kentucky State Police and Ohio County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1900 Dundee Narrows Road after receiving a call of a vehicle fire. The caller stated the driver of the vehicle had unlawfully entered their residence and gone to a room inside the home. Through investigation, it was determined Nicholas McMain was traveling on Dundee Narrows Road when his vehicle left the roadway and became stuck. At some point the vehicle caught fire and became completely engulfed in flames. McMain then made entry into the residence after the homeowner stepped outside to investigate the engulfed vehicle in his yard. McMain was apprehended by law enforcement without incident and charged with burglary 2nd degree, criminal mischief 1st degree and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
