Adair County man arrested following collision

Columbia, KY(May 22, 2017) – 27-year-old Christopher Ingermann Jr., of Columbia, KY, was arrested Sunday, May 21st, charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 1st (Aggravating Circumstances), Menacing, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Assault 3rd Degree (Police Officer), Wanton Endangerment, No Registration Receipt, Failure to Produce Insurance Card and Failure to Notify Address Change to Department of Transportation. Ingermann was charged when Troopers responded to the scene of a single vehicle, non-injury collision, on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway and discovered Ingermann had been operating the vehicle. When Ingermann was approached by Kentucky State Police Sgt.Wendell Higginbotham, he became combative. He was eventually subdued, handcuffed, taken into custody and lodged in the Adair County.
Ingermann's mother, 50-year-old Audry Ingermann, of Columbia, arrived at the scene during the incident and was also arrested, charged with Assault 3rd Degree (Police Officer), Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree. She was also lodged in the Adair County Jail.
