(Pikeville, KY) - Two Pike County residents, Kentucky State Police Sgt. Jimmy Nolte (left), of Canada, and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Sgt. Larry Farris (right), of Pikeville, received promotion certificates on Feb. 12 at a ceremony in Frankfort. A 16-year KSP veteran, Nolte is assigned to KSP Post 9 in Pikeville. A 10-year veteran of the agency, Farris is assigned to CVE Region 6 in Pikeville.
