Update: KSP Investigates Pharmacy Robbery in Pike County

(Pikeville, KY) - Just after 4 P.M. on February 2, 2016, Trooper Jeffrey Stumbo located Christopher Daniels, 33 of Pikeville, emerging from a wooded area onto the Left Fork of Toler Creek in Floyd County. Trooper Stumbo contacted Daniels after noticing he matched the description of the subject wanted for the armed robbery of Commonwealth Pharmacy. Through investigation, it was determined that Daniels was the perpetrator involved in the pharmacy robbery, and was placed under arrest.
Daniels was charged with Robbery 1st Degree, and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.

KSP Investigates Pharmacy Robbery in Pike County

(Pikeville, KY) - At approximately 9:37 A.M. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, Post 9 Pikeville received a 911 call of an armed robbery at Commonwealth Pharmacy in the Pikeville community of Pike County. Troopers responded to the scene and determined that a male subject entered the pharmacy and brandished a firearm demanding prescription medication.
The initial investigation at the scene indicates the subject was a male, approximately 5'7", and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gloves, camouflage mask, jeans, and boots. The subject fled the scene on foot. Several troopers, officers, and deputies, as well as two canine units were deployed from KSP and Pikeville Police Department. After an extensive search of the area, officers were unable to locate the male.
