Three Individuals Arrested on Auto Theft Related Charges
Search Warrants Leads to the Arrest As the Result of a Three Year Investigation

Morehead, Ky. (December 20, 2016) – After a three year investigation by Kentucky State Police Vehicle Investigations, Kentucky State Police Post 8, and the Rowan County Sheriff’s department the Rowan County Grand Jury returned multiple indictments on three individuals. The indictments were returned after multiple search warrants were executed at Lying Lee’s Auto Sales and related properties in 2013. The accused were charged with a total of 14 charges related to forgery, chop shop, and stolen firearm related crimes. The following subjects were arrested and charged with the following charges:
- Marty Stevens , 61 year old, of Morehead, KY was charged with three counts of Obscuring the Identity of a Machine or other property less than $500, Receiving Stolen Property less than $500, Forgery 2nd Degree, Possession of a Defaced Firearm, Trafficking in Stolen Vehicles or Stolen Vehicle Parts
- Darrell Conn , 53 years old, of Olive Hill, KY was charged with Obscuring Identity of Machine, Receiving Stolen Property, and Forgery 2nd Degree
- Randall Conn, 65 years old, of Olive Hill, KY. was charged with four counts of Forgery 2nd Degree.
