KSP Investigates Stabbing in Pendleton County

(Dry Ridge, KY) – The Kentucky State Police in Dry Ridge responded to Stepstone Church Road in Pendleton County after receiving a call for back up from the Pendleton County Sheriff's Office at 8:28 a.m. Pendleton County Dispatched had received a call of a female that had been stabbed. Upon arrival Pendleton County Deputy and EMS found Lora L. Lucero (45) on the roadway at KY 154 and Stepstone Church Road. She was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for her injuries. Her injuries were non-life threatening. She was interviewed there by Trooper Troy Brooks at the hospital. Based off the interview Trooper Brooks obtained an arrest warrant for Thomas Conley (62) as well as a search warrant for the home and property on Stepstone Church Road. KSP units and Pendleton County Sheriff Deputy went to the residence and ordered Mr. Conley out of the home and he was taken into custody without incident. He has been charged with Assault 1st degree and Unlawful Imprisonment 1st degree. He will be lodged at Boone County Detention Center later today. This case remains under investigation by Trooper Troy Brooks. KSP was assisted at the scene by Pendleton County Sheriff's Office and Northern Pendleton County Fire and EMS.
