Injury Collision in Grant County

(Dry Ridge, KY.) - On Sunday April 17, 2016 at 8:40 p.m. the Kentucky State Police in Dry Ridge received a call of an injury collision at 2500 Sherman-Mt. Zion Road in Grant County. Laurel P. Kenny (62) of Dry Ridge was operating a 2000 Ford pickup crossed the centerline and struck Dustin A. Dillion (22) of Walton head on. Mr. Dillion was operating a 2000 Toyota Corolla and had three passengers in the vehicle with him, Darrin Wheeler (18) of Walton, Kelsey Perkins (22) of Florence and Deeana McGee (21) of Crittenden. Mr. Dillion and his passengers were transported to various hospitals for non-life threatening injuries. Mr. Kenny was air lifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the collision. Blood test are pending at this time. KSP was assisted at the scene by Grant County Fire and E.M.S. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Charles Wagner and Trooper Josh Giles.
