Two Dead, One Injured in Larue County Accident

(MT. SHERMAN, KY.) - Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown worked a double fatality collission just East of Hodgenville on Ky. 210 near the intersection of Bailey Road on Monday morning. On March 20, 2016 at approximately 5:50 A.M. EDST, Ashley Moore (32) of Campbellsville, Ky. along with a juvenile passenger was traveling East on Ky. 210. For unknown reasons, Moore lost control of her 2003 Honda Accord and crossed the center line into the westbound lane. Anita Aubrey (48) of Buffalo was headed westbound operating her 1998 Chevy Lumina and was unable to avoid Moore's vehicle striking her head on. Moore and her juvenile passenger were pronounced dead at the scene by the Larue County Coroner's Office. Aubrey was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The accident is still under investigation by KSP Trooper/Reconstructionist Scott Rafferty. KSP was assisted at the scene by the Larue Co. S.O, Larue Co. EMS, State Highway Dept, Larue Co. Coroner's Office and the Bullo Fire Dept.
