KSP Investigating Bullitt Police Shooting

(SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY.) - Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown is investigating a shooting involving Officers from the Shepherdsville Police Dept. and a Shepherdsville man. On February 26, 2016 at approximately 5:00 P.M. EDST Officers from the Shepherdsville Police Dept. responded to a compalint of a suicidal man, Christopher S. Lindsey (30), armed with a gun and standing in a field off Nancy Dr. Responding Police units attempted to negotiate and gave verbal commands for several minutes before the perpetrator pointed the weapon at officers. Shepherdsville Officers were forced to fire at the subject striking him in the abdomen. He was then transported to University Of Louisville Hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition. Christopher Lindsey is charged with six(6) counts of Wanton Endangerment of a Police Officer 1st Degree. The case is still under investigation by KSP Sgt. Ryan Johnson.
