Two Vehicle Injury Collision on US 31-E at KY 218

HORSE CAVE, KY (June 23, 2016) - The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to a two vehicle injury collision today at approx. 10:40 am on US 31-E at the intersection of KY 218 in Hart County.

The preliminary investigation indicated that Krista Mitchell (22) of Bloomington, IN was operating a white 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer and was attempting to pull onto US 31-E from KY 218 when she struck a black 2005 Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling northbound on US 31-E and was being operated by Gilbert Pysher (67) of Horse Cave.

Mr. Pysher and his passenger, Kenneth Pysher (62) of Hardyville, were both transported by the Hart County EMS to T. J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Trooper First Class Timmy Jewell. He was assisted by Master Trooper Lonnie Hodges, Hart County EMS, and the Horse Cave Fire Department.
