Felony Arrest Made After Domestic Abuse Report in Allen County

(Scottsville, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a report last night at approx. 5:54 pm from a female who advised that her 37 year old daughter had been assaulted and was currently seeking treatment at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
Trooper Shae Foley responded to the Medical Center Emergency Room where it was determined that the female had indeed been assaulted and held against her will for a period of time. It was also discovered that the victim did have an active Domestic Violence Order against the alleged perpetrator, who were in a relationship together.
At this point a search warrant for the residence at 1114 Hade Bell Road in Scottsville was obtained by Trooper Foley, who was then assisted by Trooper Randy Chambers. They made contact with 38 year old Wendell Jackson at this residence where he was taken into custody and placed under arrest. Through the investigation a handgun was located, along with suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Wendell Jackson was lodged in the Allen County Detention Center where he was charged with:
- Assault 1st Degree (Domestic Violence)
- Kidnapping (Adult)
- Violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO
- Possession of a Handgun by Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Drug Paraphernalia Possession
The investigation is still ongoing and being conducted by Trooper Shae Foley. He was assisted with the investigation by Trooper Randy Chambers and the Allen County Sheriff's Department. No further details can be released at this time.
