Two Vehicle Injury Collision

Greenville (Muhlenberg County) - A two vehicle collision sends one to the emergency room.

On Friday, July 1, 2016, at 2:05 P.M., a two vehicle collision with injuries was reported to the Kentucky State Police Post Two. Trooper Jon McGehee responded to investigate. Leonard L. Crain, Age 61 of Greenville, was operating his 2004 Ford Sport Utility Vehicle approximately one mile south of Greenville, when he attempted to make a left turn. Erin Estes, Age 38 of Dunmor, was operating her 1999 Ford Passenger Car south bound on Kentucky 181 South. Mr. Crain failed to see Mrs. Estes as he entered the roadway. Mrs. Estes then made contact with Mr. Crain in the south bound lane. Mrs. Estes was transported to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital by Muhlenberg EMS were she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles were carrying passengers, and all occupants were restrained. J & D's Towing, and Harvey's Towing removed the vehicles from scene. Greenville Police Department and Greenville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
