Nortonville Woman Charged with Burglary

Nortonville, KY (Hopkins County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged a Nortonville woman with burglary after conducting an investigation.
On April 12, 2016, Trooper Jon McGehee responded to a residence on Jessie Street in Nortonville to investigate a burglary. The victim advised Tpr. McGehee that tools and fishing equipment had been stolen from their garage.
Through his investigation, Tpr. McGehee was able to locate the items at a pawn shop in Hopkinsville. Based on his investigation, Tpr. McGehee was able to obtain an arrest warrant for Devona S. Brasher, 46, Nortonville.
On Wednesday, May 11, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Tpr. McGehee located Ms. Brasher at a residence on Jessie Street and executed the warrant. Ms. Brasher was charged with one count of Burglary 3rd Degree, a class D felony, and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
